Wear it Pink!
Friday 18th November, saw the whole school celebrate the ‘Wear it Pink’ fundraising event in order to raise money for Breast Cancer Now. All the money raised by the nationwide event goes towards Breast Cancer Research, and helping those currently living with breast cancer. Students were encouraged to wear an item or items of Pink clothing, and they didn’t disappoint! It was great to see so many students getting into the spirit of things. Students of all ages across the school, right up from Prep R to the INSPIRED Sixth Form, got involved in a fantastic cause.
We were also lucky enough to have a themed lunch put on for us by our catering partners Thomas Franks, and they had also decorated the dining hall beautifully throughout with pink balloons and adornments. A special mention is needed for the cakes that were on offer which were delightful.
Mrs Oracz and members of the INSPIRED Sixth Form charity team were on hand to take donations from students and staff outside the dining hall. Thank you to everyone who donated, and we look forward to announcing the total amount raised in the coming weeks.
