Autumn Concert
On Tuesday evening, we held our annual Autumn concert in The Croston Theatre. It was an opportunity for our talented students to showcase their abilities in front of their family and friends, and they did not fail to deliver. It proved to be a fine evening of ensemble and solo musical performances, with the orchestra and school bands in full swing under the baton of Director of Music Mr Holt.
Our soloists performed admirably, with a wide variety of instruments on show. From cello to cornet, piano to vocal, we had a delightful range of performances. The Year 10 Rock band ‘Trinity’ brought us back to life after the interval with some suitably punchy performances, much to the enjoyment of the audience. The evening concluded with our two choirs joining together to perform a medley from the musical and forthcoming film ‘Wicked,’ providing an inspiring end to the evening. Congratulations to all those who took part on the evening for their efforts and well done on providing a great evening of musical entertainment!
