Co-curricular Fair

On Wednesday morning, we held our annual co-curricular fair. The event was held in the sports hall and students were able to view the fantastic range of clubs, activities and societies that are available to them during their time at Westholme. Members of staff and INSPIRED Sixth Formers were on hand to give them all of the information that they might need in order to help them make the very most of the Westholme education.

The array of clubs on offer cover all areas of the curriculum from Sport, Creative Arts, Science, Maths & Engineering and so much more. The co-curricular programme is a great way for students to learn new skills and make new friends along the way.

It’s also a good way for members of the Sixth Form to get involved in mentoring programmes as well. As more experienced members of school, they can help pass on their knowledge to their young fellow students and gain vaulable skills along the way.

Students were given booklets with information on all of the clubs and activities that are run, over 80 clubs that take place throughout the year, that they could take away with them.

It was great to see everyone getting involved, asking questions and keen to enjoy themselves outside of their lessons. Thank you to Miss Jackson for organising the event and to all the members of staff on hand to help students make an informed decision.
