House Swimming Gala
At the beginning of the week, we saw the first sessions of our House Swimming Gala taking place in the Swimming Pool, with the Year 7 & 8 girls kicking off proceedings!
As always, the competitive spirit on show was great to see, with everyone wanting to win it for their respective Houses. The PE department set the scene with music to get everyone in the mood, and they were off!
The whole range of races, both individual and medley races, were part of the schedule. The Senior girls completed their races on the Monday, with the boys’ races taking place on Tuesday.
Both days saw some fierce competition and fine individual efforts, with each House hoping to raise the House trophy at the end of the gala.
Mr Purdy and his team in the PE department have been carefully adding up the points from the races this week, and we look forward to announcing the results soon!
