Graphic Communication

Why choose Graphic Communication?

Graphic Communication affords individuals to develop their creative ideas through multiple platforms using both traditional and modern artistic methods to explore, develop and refine ideas. Graphic Design orchestrates artistic ideas that are transformed into purposeful designs which may take the form of branding and identity, typography, illustration, design for print, interactive design (including web, app and game) and communication graphics. Students will develop and apply the knowledge, understanding and skills specified in the subject content to realise personal intentions relevant to graphic communication and their selected area(s) of study. The AQA A Level course facilitates the production of an extensive portfolio of work which can be taken to interviews for Higher Education or employment. Work submitted can take many forms but usually includes sketchbooks and a variety of outcomes in response to a theme.
