Mountain Biking Trip to Whinlatter Forest

Last Sunday, Dr Watson led a group of intrepid students up to the beautiful scenery of Whinlatter Forest in the Lake District for a mountain biking trip.

Whinlatter Forest is home to some stunning views, and offered our students a fantastic range of routes featuring twists and turns, and ascents and descents. There were nine students in total, who ventured out on the trip, from Year 10 to 12.

Fortunately, the weather stayed fine and the rain stayed away for the majority of the trip. They were great conditions for everyone to make the most of the days biking, and enjoy both the trails and views of the nearby fells, natural lakes and valleys that they were surrounded by.
