UCAS Fair in Manchester
Last Wednesday, Year 12 students visited a UCAS fair in Manchester, organised by Head of Careers, Mrs Hibberd.
The event was an incredible eye opener for the students, showcasing national universities from Oxford, Cambridge and Manchester to Falmouth and Creative Arts specialist institutions.
The fair additionally showcased some incredible apprenticeship opportunities for companies such as Dyson, Samsung and Specsavers. This was particularly useful for students such as Darcy (pictured below with Dyson stand), one of our A Level Product Design students, who is interested in engineering and practical elements of design.
Students went in with an open mind, and left with ideas, brochures and a handful of tote bags and free merch!
