University, Apprenticeships and Careers Fair
On Tuesday evening, we welcomed over 600 visitors and over 70 exhibitors through our doors for our University, Apprenticeships and Careers Fair. What a turn out it was and thank you to all of our exhibitors, external visitors and internal families who came on the evening.
Organised by Mr Oracz, Head of our INSPIRED Sixth Form, it was a fantastic opportunity for students to find out more about the opportunities that are available to them upon leaving Westholme.
Aside from the stalls that our exhibitors had set up across the Dining Hall, LRC and Sixth Form Common Room, we also had talks in the Croston Theatre giving valuable insights into admissions processes, applications and life beyond school, as well as student finance.
We were also delighted to welcome back a whole host of Old Westholmians, who were talking about their own personal experiences in life after Westholme.
They were sharing thoughts of their journey after school with our current students, passing on their knowledge and giving tips and advice.
As always, it’s great to see the strong bonds that are formed by being a Westholme student as many become part of our alumni community upon leaving.
