Year 12 Geography Field Trip

Year 12 Observational Fieldwork on the River Brock

This week, our Year 12 Geography students conducted observational fieldwork along the River Brock as part of their AQA A Level studies.

The students explored various geographical concepts, including assessing the river regime, as well as discussing the human impact on the environment. Through discussion and observation, they gained valuable insights into the river’s characteristics and the surrounding landscape.

This practical experience not only deepened their understanding of theoretical concepts but also fostered critical thinking skills. A great afternoon of practice outside of the classroom.
