Year 13 Mock Interviews
In anticipation of pending interviews for both university courses and degree apprenticeships, our Year 13 students demonstrated incredible confidence and quality in virtual and in-house mock interviews.
We were very grateful to Westholme alumni, university admissions tutors and Westholme parents for giving their time to offer personalised interviews on the career aspirations of each subject. They were put through their paces and asked probing questions, with each rising to the occasion and showcasing their personalities, skillset and impressive communication skills, with interviewers praising how polite, articulate and impressive every student was whilst in the spotlight.
Former Head Girl, Tilly Daley, was particularly inspired by our Marketing and Business students, commenting that “It was heartwarming to reconnect with Westholme and see such unique, driven individuals. Every student showed great enthusiasm, adapted impressively to every question and I’m confident they will excel in the industry. Every one of them was punctual, articulate, positive, and simply wonderful.”
Similarly, Old Westholmian, Dr Becky Prince, spoke highly of our medics, commenting how “It was an absolute pleasure hearing about their achievements and aspirations – they were a credit to Westholme and themselves!”
The buzz around the Sixth Form after every interview was intoxicating and you could sense the level of achievement and pride, as each student showcased their individual brilliance and felt proud that they delivered such impressive interviews, a testament to how they have develop during their time at school. We now wish students success with their formal interviews, as well as thanking those who gave students their time and experience this week.
