Year 9 Art Trip to Manchester Art Gallery

On 13th June, twenty-two Year 9 and three Year 12 Art students visited central Manchester to observe some of Manchester’s finest art! The trip was organised by Miss Jackson. We started the day off by going to the Manchester Art Gallery which was mesmerising as there is something for everybody in there. Afterwards, we then headed to Pizza Hut to get some yummy pizza at the buffet.
Next we headed over to Manchester’s Craft and Design Centre in The Northern Quarter. We went around all of the arts businesses looking at their work and asking them questions about their work!
Last but not least, we then made a quick stop at Affleck Palace which is an indoor market place in The Northern Quarter, before we got on the bus back to school.
Overall, it was a great day and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
