Marcus has had an exceptional September as he continues to excel in both BMX and MTB racing. On 9 September, he joined the National BMX Racing Team, Fluent Race, after two seasons with Alan’s BMX Race Team. On 20 September, during Round 9 of the British 4X National Series at Twisted Oaks Bike Park, Marcus was also presented with a jersey to join the esteemed Farmer Johns National MTB Racing Team. Being signed to national teams in both BMX and MTB racing is rare and highlights his remarkable talent. 

Throughout the season, Marcus competed in all ten rounds of the British 4X National Series across the UK, including Cornwall, Wales, Gloucestershire and Ipswich. He finished Rounds 9 and 10 strongly, taking wins on both days and completing a clean sweep of victories. His consistent performance earned him the title of British 4X 2025 National Series Champion. 

At the end of the trophy presentation, Marcus received the British 4X & DMR Bikes Rider of the Year Award 2025, recognising not only his outstanding results but also his sportsmanship, encouragement of fellow riders and dedication to coaching younger competitors. Marcus congratulates others regardless of the outcome and supports younger riders in mastering new skills.
