Our curriculum should have at its heart the aim of preparing students for life in a global society and work in a global economy. Our students leave us to compete in a global market, with their peers educated to contribute to a skillsbased economy and a techno-savvy workplace. Emerging markets in Asia, the Far East and South America are planning strategically to ensure that their schools will produce a workforce equipped for tomorrow’s world.

knowledge and self-awareness to adapt to the dynamic, international business environment, including a wide range of cultural circumstances.
Our students must be prepared for a more exciting but more competitive world of work than the one that we entered. As a school, we must adapt in order to improve our students’ life chances. Westholme will continue to offer a broad and balanced curriculum through years 7 to 9. Around the core of English, Maths and Science, students will be exposed to a range of creative and performing arts, humanities, languages, technical subjects and physical education.
