Our students have a proud history of competing at both national and international levels, driven by expert coaching, unwavering passion, and access to outstanding facilities. The Sports Department at Westholme consists of a team of highly qualified and experienced teachers and coaches, each specialising in one of the key sports offered at Westholme. Academically, PE is delivered at both GCSE and A Level by members of the department, with each course exploring a broad spectrum of topics related to sports performance.

Sports scholarships

Our goal is to create a nurturing environment where students can thrive academically and athletically. While the scholarships value outstanding potential in a specific sport, they also recognise the importance of all-round sporting ability. This suggests a balance between specialisation and a broader range of athletic skills.

Westholme Facilities

Our swimming pool, tennis courts and full-sized AstroTurf are on the doorstep of the Senior school. We have a professional theatre – perfect for drama, public speaking and performing. Our recording studio, photography infinity wall, science laboratories, 3D Computer Aided Design technology and Food Preparation and Nutrition Rooms provides facilities and experiences like no other!
