Scarlott’s Show Jumping Success

Westholme’s Scarlott has certainly been busy over the summer holidays! She recently flew out to Irvine, California, to take part in the prestigious The Oaks show jumping event, before going on to win the Classic Championship.

The current Year 6 pupil was asked to showcase pony Michi over the summer holidays, having previously ridden him just a few times during the Easter break. Competing over five days, Scarlott and Michi scored enough points to qualify for the Classic Championship at 75cm, going clear before coming fastest in the speed course, which they won by a lead of five seconds.

Scarlott’s ongoing success has now seen her invited to compete with Michi again in just two weeks’ time, after which she is set to fly home to continue her Westholme story as she starts in Year 7.
