Seniors Sprint to Success at House Cross Country

Determination, teamwork and a little mud made for an unforgettable Senior House Cross Country this week!

Students took to the course with energy and enthusiasm, racing across challenging terrain and cheering one another on from start to finish. Every pupil gave their best effort, showing true Westholme spirit and sportsmanship.

After a morning of brilliant performances, Calder emerged as overall champions, leading by an incredible 300 house points! Their consistency, teamwork and determination secured the victory, but all houses should be proud of their resilience and effort.

The event was a wonderful reminder of the value of perseverance and community – from the first starter’s whistle to the final sprint across the line, every moment reflected commitment and camaraderie.

A huge thank you to staff and volunteers for making the event such a success, and congratulations once again to all our runners on a fantastic day of sport.
