Easter Comes Early for Prep Reception

Prep Reception has enjoyed an egg-stra special day following the arrival of a delightful batch of living eggs earlier this week. Carefully placed in the classroom incubator, the eggs have been kept warm and watched over with great anticipation by our youngest learners.

Today, the excitement reached its peak as the first tiny chicks began to hatch. There were plenty of smiles, wide eyes and whispered “wows” as the children witnessed this magical moment unfold right before them, a truly memorable hands-on learning experience.

The newly hatched chicks will soon be transferred to a larger brooder where they will have access to food and water. Over the coming days, Prep R pupils will continue to observe their fluffy visitors, learning all about care, nurturing and social interaction through this wonderful real-life experience.
