A Fond Farewell to WA Chair, Susy

This week, the WA held their Spring Term. They recapped on the academic year so far, feeling positive with the recent fundraising successes of the 2025 Christmas Fair and the Pre-loved uniform sale that was held in September.

Finally we spent some time celebrating and thanking our outgoing Chair, Susy. Susy joined the WA in 2013 when her daughter, now in our Sixth Form, started her Westholme journey.

Taking on the role of Chair 5 years ago, she has led the WA through the COVID pandemic, striving to find ways to fundraise in that challenging period, and then beyond leading the team in organising countless Christmas and Spring Fairs, Pre-loved Uniform Sales, Movie Nights, and social events for the parents in our Westholme community.

Under Susy’s stewardship since 2021 the WA has raised over £60k. What an achievement!

The whole of the WA team will miss her and it was lovely being able to thank and celebrate her success.
