Bethany Makes a Splash at Swimming Championships

Westholme School is proud to celebrate Bethany’s outstanding achievements at the recent Swimming Championships, where she delivered an exceptional series of performances in the pool.

Demonstrating remarkable commitment and competitive strength, Bethany qualified for an impressive 14 events and went on to compete in 11 of them across the competition. Her determination and consistent form resulted in a fantastic medal haul of four podium finishes.

Bethany secured three silver medals in the 50m Freestyle, 200m Individual Medley and 50m Breaststroke, alongside a bronze medal in the 50m Butterfly. Each swim showcased her technical skill, race focus and growing confidence at championship level.

In addition to her medal success, Bethany also reached two further finals, finishing 7th in the 100m Freestyle and an excellent 4th in the 100m Breaststroke, narrowly missing another podium place in a highly competitive field.

This is a superb achievement and reflects Bethany’s dedication to training, her resilience in competition and her passion for swimming. Performances of this calibre are a wonderful example of the sporting ambition and commitment we are proud to nurture at Westholme.
