CBN Hockey Club Crowned National Club of the Year

We are delighted to congratulate our partners, Clitheroe & Blackburn Northern Hockey Club (CBN), on being crowned England Hockey National Club of the Year 2026.

At Westholme, we are incredibly proud of our partnership with CBN Hockey Club and the opportunities it provides for our pupils. This national recognition reflects the remarkable impact CBN continues to have on hockey across our region, inspiring players of all ages and abilities to get involved in the sport.

We were equally delighted to welcome BBC Radio Lancashire to Westholme on Wednesday, where they spoke with our PE staff and pupils about the success of the partnership and the many opportunities it creates for young hockey players. From introducing beginners to the game to supporting those competing at county and national level, the collaboration between Westholme and CBN continues to help pupils develop their skills and passion for hockey.
