MEM Masterclasses in Mathematics

Jack and Sophie, in Year 8, participated in the MEM Masterclasses in Mathematics, which took place over five Saturdays during the Autumn Term. The final Masterclass was held on Saturday 3 December.

These Masterclasses are run by the Liverpool Mathematics Society and offer a series of interactive talks, problem-solving sessions, workshops, and hands-on computer activities designed for students who are able and enthusiastic mathematicians. The students enjoyed meeting others who share their interest in the subject and taking part in a range of problem-solving activities.

In addition, we are pleased to announce that David and Finley, in Year 10, have been accepted onto the Royal Institution Masterclasses in Mathematics at Lancaster University, which will take place in the Spring Term.
