Prep 6 London Residential – Day One

Our Prep 6 pupils enjoyed a fantastic start to their London residential as they travelled to the capital for three days of learning, exploration and unforgettable experiences.

After arriving in London, the group headed straight to the River Thames for a sightseeing cruise. Travelling along one of the world’s most famous rivers provided students with a unique perspective of many of the city’s iconic landmarks, including the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, Tower Bridge and St Paul’s Cathedral. The cruise offered an excellent opportunity for pupils to learn more about London’s history while taking in the impressive skyline.

Following the river tour, pupils enjoyed an evening meal together at Pizza Express on the Strand, where they had the chance to relax and reflect on the day’s experiences.

The group then made their way to the hotel to settle in and prepare for another exciting day ahead, which includes a visit to the Tower of London and an evening performance of the award-winning musical Matilda.

Day one provided the perfect introduction to the capital and set the tone for what promises to be a memorable and educational residential visit.
