Prep’s Harvest Festival 2025

Today, our Prep pupils came together at St Silas’ Church for a heartwarming Harvest Festival, celebrating the season of giving and gratitude. The church was filled with joyful singing, beautiful readings and smiling faces as the children shared their thanks for the food we have and the kindness we can give.

Over recent weeks, pupils have worked tirelessly to collect donations for Blackburn Foodbank, demonstrating the compassion and generosity that define our Westholme community. Their contributions will support families in need across Blackburn, reminding everyone of the importance of empathy and togetherness.

Parents were treated to a wonderful performance of harvest songs the pupils have been rehearsing with great enthusiasm. From the lively opening hymn to the heartfelt closing verses, every moment reflected their teamwork, spirit and joy.

A huge thank you to St Silas’ Church for welcoming us so warmly, to our staff for their guidance and to every family who supported this meaningful cause. The Harvest Festival truly captured the essence of Westholme – a community that learns, gives and grows together.
