Sixth Form Open Evening and Taster Day

We were delighted to host our INSPIRED Sixth Form Open Evening this week, welcoming both familiar faces and new families into our community to discover what life at Westholme Sixth Form has to offer.

The evening began with a warm reception, giving visitors the chance to meet staff, explore our facilities and gain a real sense of the vibrant, supportive environment that defines Westholme. Engaging talks followed from both current and former Sixth Formers, who shared their personal journeys, memorable experiences and the many ways Westholme has shaped their ambitions and future success.

Head of Sixth Form, Jonathan Oracz, spoke passionately about the transformative impact of a Westholme education. He highlighted how our approach goes beyond academic excellence, encouraging every student to develop a breadth of skills and experiences that ensure they leave as confident, adaptable and dynamic young adults; ready to make their mark on the world.

The following day, we were thrilled to welcome over 110 pupils to our Sixth Form Taster Day. This gave prospective students the chance to experience life at Westholme first-hand. From taking part in subject lessons to engaging with our wide-ranging enrichment programme. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to immerse themselves in the unique atmosphere of our Sixth Form, meet future classmates, and discover how we support every individual to flourish.

From academic enrichment to leadership opportunities, co-curricular activities, and personalised guidance, families and students were able to see first-hand the unique and inspiring opportunities that make Westholme Sixth Form stand out.
