This Week in Prep

What an exciting start for Westholme Prep’s newest pupils! The children have enjoyed creating self-portraits, sharing family stories in circle time and taking part in their first Ballet, Swimming and Outdoor Learning lessons.

Prep Reception have had a wonderful time getting to know each other and adjusting to the new rules and routines of Reception. This week they enjoyed creating their own self portraits and talking about their families during circle time. The pupils also had their first Ballet, Swimming and Outdoor Learning lessons!

Prep 1 have made a brilliant start, showing real enthusiasm. The pupils have impressed Mrs Barrett with their hard work and curiosity as history detectives exploring old and new toys. Joining the class this week was Summer, Kasper and Sophia who have taken to Westholme with great enthusiasm.

Prep 2 have settled in fantastically, with a warm welcome to Aiyla and Ibrahim, and are already buzzing with excitement about the topics ahead.

Prep 3 are off to a flying start in Upper Prep, showing independence with homework and enjoying their studies on Ancient Egypt. We also welcomed Lucy, Amaya and Alana, who have joined seamlessly and are already contributing to the class.

Prep 4 have made a fantastic start to the year, showing real energy and enthusiasm in their new topics. Mr Holland and the class have also loved welcoming Kristian and Aisha, who have quickly settled in.

Prep 5 have impressed with their effort and positivity, embracing new topics and staff with enthusiasm. We were delighted to welcome Libby, Max, Charlie, Harry and Finley all of whom have quickly found their stride.

Prep 6 have embraced their new responsibilities and enjoyed their first Ethics, Philosophy & Religion and French lessons at Seniors, as well as a variety of lunchtime clubs. We also welcomed Sufyan, Conrad, Grace, Harriet and Mohammed, who have joined lessons with great ease. This week excitement has already been building for this year’s production of The Jungle Book.
