Beardwood Hospital Delivers First Aid Training to Prep & Sixth Form

In recognition of Restart a Heart Month, the Sixth Form and Prep 5 and 6 both enjoyed a fascinating first aid workshop led by the team from Beardwood Hospital.

The sessions introduced pupils to essential life-saving skills and the importance of staying calm and focused in an emergency. Through demonstrations and hands-on practice, the students learned how to assess situations, perform basic CPR and use recovery positions safely and effectively.

The Beardwood team explained how first aid can make a crucial difference and encouraged participants to take pride in being prepared and helping others. The engaging activities built both confidence and awareness, inspiring them to think about responsibility, teamwork and care in real-world situations.
