Exploring New York: Day Three

Building on an action-packed Day Two, Day Three of the New York trip continued to offer students a mix of breathtaking views, urban exploration and cultural experiences. The day began at Hudson Yards, where pupils visited The Edge, Manhattan’s highest outdoor observation deck. From the glass-floored platform, students captured panoramic views of the city skyline and the Hudson River, marveling at the city from above.

The group then strolled along the High Line, enjoying the elevated park’s gardens, public art installations and unique perspectives of the city streets below. Pupils embraced the blend of greenery and urban design, stopping to take photos and soak in the atmosphere.

Lunch was enjoyed at Chelsea Market, a bustling hub of local flavours, where students explored different food stalls, sampled treats and experienced the vibrancy of the market.

The afternoon was spent in Central Park, wandering its famous paths, pausing at lakes and sculptures, and taking a moment to relax amid the city’s greenery. Students reflected on their experiences so far and shared highlights from the first three days of the trip.

The evening concluded with a shared meal and some free time to explore nearby shops, rounding off a day of discovery, learning and adventure. With more experiences still to come, the group looks forward to continuing their New York journey.
