Showjumping Success for Millie at the Horse of the Year Show

We are delighted to celebrate the outstanding success of Millie, who recently represented herself and her school at the world-famous Horse of the Year Show – one of the most prestigious events in the British equestrian calendar.

Millie competed in the Pony Showjumper of the Year category, a national competition that attracts the top young riders from across the UK. Having qualified over the summer, Millie and her pony Teachmor Joey faced the challenge of jumping an impressive 1.35 metres, showcasing not only their technical ability but also their trust and teamwork.

Throughout the competition, Millie demonstrated exceptional composure and determination, navigating a demanding course with precision and confidence. Her efforts were rewarded with a remarkable eighth-place finish – an incredible accomplishment at this elite level of showjumping.

Millie’s achievement is a testament to her dedication, resilience and passion for the sport. Balancing her academic studies with her rigorous training schedule, she continues to embody the Westholme values of hard work and perseverance.
