Marcus Selected for British Cycling Regional School of Racing

Westholme is delighted to celebrate the success of student Marcus, who has recently been selected for the British Cycling Regional School of Racing (RSR) programme.

The Regional School of Racing forms part of British Cycling’s national development pathway and is designed to support and nurture some of the country’s most promising young riders. Through the programme, athletes receive specialist coaching, performance guidance and opportunities to further develop the technical and tactical skills required to compete at the highest levels of the sport.

Being selected for the RSR programme is a significant achievement and reflects Marcus’s dedication, determination and commitment to cycling. The initiative also provides young athletes with the opportunity to gain insight into the standards, training and mindset required to progress towards the Great Britain Cycling Team.

For Marcus, this marks an exciting step forward on his sporting journey. With ambitions of one day representing Team GB at the Olympic Games, he continues to work hard in pursuit of his goals.
