Westholme School was delighted to host this year’s Spring Fair on Saturday, welcoming families, friends and members of the wider community for a truly memorable day.
After a week of unsettled weather, the sunshine made a welcome appearance, creating the perfect backdrop for an afternoon filled with laughter, activity and community spirit. From the moment visitors arrived, the school was alive with energy, with something to enjoy around every corner.
The LRC was transformed into a vibrant Kids’ Zone, where younger visitors enjoyed face painting, glitter tattoos, gnome bowling, lucky dip, table football and Nerf target shooting, among many other activities. Inside the Dining Hall, guests were treated to a fantastic selection of food, crafts and stalls, including the ever-popular “Decorate a Donut,” a café serving hot food, a cake stall and a plant stall. Local businesses and community favourites such as George & Clemmies, Shajan and Mann Fine Wines added to the wonderful variety on offer .
The Theatre and foyer areas were equally bustling, hosting a wide range of independent stalls including Honeybee Soap and Candle Company, Tropic, Foxglove Creations and many more, alongside a raffle, chocolate tombola and book and toy stall . A special highlight for younger visitors was the Easter Chicken, who delighted children by handing out chocolate eggs throughout the day .
A huge thank you goes to the Westholme Association, whose dedication and hard work ensured the success of the event. Events like the Spring Fair are a wonderful celebration of everything that makes Westholme so special, a place where families come together, friendships are strengthened and lasting memories are made.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who supported the event and helped make it such a fantastic success.
