Internal and external Year 10 students enjoyed a full day immersed in Sixth Form life at our ISF Taster Day, designed to inspire, challenge and excite them as they begin to consider their next steps.
The day began with a warm welcome in the Sixth Form Centre from Mr Orcaz, Head of Sixth Form, before students moved into a packed academic schedule. With over 25 subject sessions available, they explored a wide range of disciplines, experienced A Level-style learning and discovered new interests and potential future pathways.
Between sessions, students had time to relax and socialise, enjoying fresh brownies at break and a Sixth Form-style lunch of fajitas and pizza, adding to the authentic experience of Sixth Form life.
In the afternoon, the focus shifted to enrichment, with students taking part in activities including United Nations discussions, football and netball. These sessions highlighted the breadth of opportunities available beyond the classroom and the importance of a well-rounded Sixth Form experience.
Throughout the day, students also connected with current Sixth Formers, gaining valuable insight into the independence, support and strong sense of community that define life in the Sixth Form.
A fantastic day filled with curiosity, confidence and excitement for the future.
