Malaysia Expedition 2027 Announced

Mr Barnett set a lively tone in assembly this week, delivering his message in “holiday mode” as he revealed the next expedition. He announced an unforgettable new adventure for Westholme students – the Malaysia Expedition 2027. He began by sharing exciting tales and images from the last expedition to Costa Rica, where pupils enjoyed scuba diving and jungle adventures, before revealing that Malaysia will be the next bookable trip.

This incredible 18-day journey will take place in Summer 2027 and is open to current Year 9–12 students. The itinerary includes exploring the bustling city of Kuala Lumpur, learning survival skills at a rainforest jungle camp, and spending time at a turtle conservation project – offering an extraordinary mix of culture, challenge and discovery.

Designed in partnership with Outlook Expeditions, the trip will help students develop resilience, independence and life skills that extend far beyond the classroom.
