Prep 4 Explore Together Afternoon

Prep 4 classrooms were buzzing with excitement this week as pupils proudly took on the role of teacher, welcoming their parents into School for our much-loved Explore Together afternoon.

From showcasing their work to explaining new skills and projects, pupils confidently guided their families through a snapshot of daily life in the classroom. It was a wonderful opportunity for parents to see learning in action and to celebrate just how much progress their children have made.

There were plenty of proud smiles as pupils talked through activities, demonstrated their thinking and shared what they enjoy most about their lessons. Moments like these not only build confidence but also help children reflect on their own learning journey.

At Westholme, we believe that strong partnerships between home and school are essential to a child’s success. The Explore Together afternoon is a key part of how we strengthen those connections, creating shared experiences that support both academic development and wellbeing.
