Prep Pupils Rise to the BEBRAS Challenge

Just before the Christmas break, pupils in Prep 5 and 6 took on the national BEBRAS Challenge, an online problem-solving competition that introduces children to the world of computational thinking through engaging and cleverly designed tasks.

The challenge encourages pupils to think logically, spot patterns and apply creative reasoning. Our Prep pupils embraced it with real enthusiasm and determination. We were absolutely delighted with the results, with a number of pupils achieving scores within the top 10% nationally, placing them among the strongest performers across the country.

One pupil in particular deserves special recognition. Daniel achieved a perfect score, answering every question correctly, an outstanding accomplishment in a competition designed to stretch even the most confident problem-solvers.

To celebrate their success, certificates were presented to the high-scoring pupils during Prep’s Celebration Assembly, where their achievements were warmly applauded by staff and classmates alike.
