We are delighted to celebrate the exceptional achievements of our students in this year’s UKMT Senior Mathematical Challenge, a nationally recognised competition designed to stretch and inspire the very best young mathematicians.
The challenge is renowned for its demanding, non-routine problems, requiring participants to demonstrate strong logical thinking, creativity and deep mathematical understanding. Our students approached the competition with determination and enthusiasm, and their results are a testament to both their hard work and their passion for mathematics.
We are especially proud of William, who achieved a Gold award and was named Best in School. This outstanding performance has qualified him for the prestigious British Mathematical Olympiad, placing him among the strongest young mathematicians in the country.
We also congratulate Alfie and Grace, who both achieved Silver awards, and Isabella, Evie, Ayesha, Millie, Khadijah and Henry, who were all awarded Bronze. Each of these results represents a significant achievement in a competition of this calibre.
Well done to all students involved for their dedication and ambition, and thank you to our mathematics staff for their continued support in nurturing confidence, curiosity and academic excellence in the classroom and beyond.
