Westholme Students’ Practically Perfect Production of Mary Poppins Jr.

As students took their bows following their fantastic final performance of Mary Poppins Jr., the Croston Theatre erupted into applause, with parents, staff, loved ones and members of the wider community dazzled by the young Westholmians’ talent.

The culmination of months of hard work, creativity and dedication, the Lower Senior School’s production of Mary Poppins Jr. transported audience members to the magical world of Cherry Tree Lane, where they were treated to beautiful renditions of the musical’s classic numbers, as well as to energetic dance numbers and outstanding acting.

Director Mrs A Holland said of the performance: “Our cast has approached every rehearsal with enthusiasm, resilience and a wonderful sense of teamwork. Watching their confidence grow and their characters come to life has been a joy.”

With the final curtain drawn, marking the end to what has been another incredible year of performing arts at Westholme, the memories of Mary Poppins Jr. will continue to inspire the next generation of young performers for years to come.
