Westholme was thrilled to welcome England Roses and Loughborough Lightning captain, Natalie Panagarry, to school today for an inspiring day of training, teamwork and motivation!
Natalie began her visit by meeting with our Upper Seniors for an engaging and thought-provoking talk on resilience, leadership and success. She spoke openly about her own journey, from early challenges and injuries to captaining one of the UK’s top teams; reminding pupils that setbacks are opportunities for growth and that true leadership comes from supporting others.
Natalie also shared valuable insights into nutrition and wellbeing, emphasising the importance of balance, preparation and self-belief both on and off the court. Her words inspired pupils to take pride in their personal development, health, and teamwork, lessons that extend far beyond sport.
After the training sessions, Natalie delivered high-energy netball training sessions to our senior pupils, sharing professional tips, drills and match strategies that left everyone buzzing with excitement. Her passion for the sport was infectious and our students loved every moment on court; from perfecting their passes to learning how to communicate and lead as a team.
A huge thank you to Natalie for visiting Westholme and inspiring our students to aim high, work hard and stay positive through every challenge.
