On Wednesday, Year 10 Computer Science students took part in the annual BIMA Digital Day, a national competition connecting young people with the digital and creative industries.
Working with professionals from a digital marketing agency, students were challenged to create seasonal campaigns for Aston Martin. In groups, they developed their ideas and presented their pitches to the class.
The winning team impressed with an interactive advent calendar, digital screens in Trafalgar Square, and Mariah Carey as the “Queen of Christmas.” Their pitches will now be judged against other schools across the country, with winners announced soon.
It was a day full of creativity, collaboration and innovation, giving students a unique insight into careers in marketing, technology and design while developing skills they can use for years to come.
