House Music

Last Wednesday saw our Music Department filled with melodic tunes, creative student compositions, and a good dose of competitive spirit for our annual House Music competition.   

Lower school pupils competed in both vocal and instrumental classes, and upper school classes included composition as well as vocal and instrumental. All pupils who participated and represented their houses should be immensely proud of themselves, but special mention must go to the winners of each class. Junior Vocal – Tabetha Buck, Junior Instrumental – Samra Jabeen, Composition – Isabelle Hibberd, Senior Vocal – Darcie Brown and Senior Instrumental – William Cristoforo. 

The event was adjudicated by Mrs Lindsey Fillingham, our prep music teacher, and she was stunned by the quality of performances on offer. House captains were thrilled to see just how many students rose to the challenge to represent their house, whether it was a first-time performance, or one of many.
