Four-Day Football Camp Launches at Westholme

Our first ever four-day Football Camp kicked off this half-term, led by UEFA-qualified coach Charlie Jackson, Founder of Matrix Soccer Academy and currently working within the Manchester City Junior Academy pathway.

Matrix Soccer Academy is a skills-based development programme for young players up to the age of 16, built around thousands of carefully designed technical drills using real game scenarios to develop superior footballing ability.

Welcoming players of all abilities aged 7–15, the camp was packed with energy and learning. Participants developed their technical passing and movement, enjoyed competitive small-sided games, and took part in classroom sessions exploring behaviours, attitudes and mindset in football. Pupils also had the opportunity to hear first-hand about Charlie’s coaching journey across elite environments including Manchester United, Blackburn Rovers and Manchester City.
